Ok, I understand that at work things can get really stressful, but the incident that I am about to blog about was inspired by an incident at work that happened the other day. I am not going to name where I work or use the real name of the fool in question, but I recently started a new positon that requires four weeks in training and at times it can be very confusing which can sometimes lead to "extreme" frustration. So with all the frustation that the job can potentially cause, wouldn't you be a little more prone to remain alert during class??
This fool I will call D.A.N. (dumb ass nigga) had a real short attention span, and by short I mean short. We would all be sitting there in class listening to the trainer (now don't get me wrong it was boring as hell at times) and DAN would be literally twiddling his thumbs and staring off into outerspace. On the first or second day of training, the trainer asked him a question (that was just a basic question) and this fool had the nerve to say "what, I wasn't paying attention" and we are all looking at each other like "did he really just say that out loud?" and everyone just laughed it off but throughout the week, it was becoming more and more obvious that D.A.N. was a H.A.M (hot ass mess), I mean the place that I work at is VERY STRICT when it comes to having cell phones in certain areas, and one of the areas is our training room. So this fool is steady texting on his phone, and our trainer is not a confrontational person at all so he would just walk up to him tap him on the shoulder and say something real silly.
Anyhow by the end of the week he was just getting dumber by the day and I couldn't stand it because he sat right next to me and tried to look over my desk to copy what I was writing down, and what I was writing down was coming directly out of the teachers mouth!!!!! I mean I wanted to scream 'Mother fucker if you would just PAY THE FUCK ATTENTION then you could write down the same shit that I am!!!!! Geesh" but of course I didn't say anything remotly close to that. I just kind of sucked my teeth and just tensed up (I didn't want to look at him because you can look at me and tell exactly what I am thinking).
So anyhow, moving on to the middle of week 2, we are now actually putting what we have learned, and we are working live accounts, so of course D.A.N. just sat there with a dumb look on his face, talking about "I don't know what I am doing, I have absolutely no idea how to do any of this"!!!! Like really dude? REALLY??? Maybe if you had kept your thumb out your ass for the last two weeks, and had actually paid attention then you wouldn't be sitting there looking like you had just walked in on your parents having sex and your traumatized! I mean we all had questions, but we all got the general concept of the job, and because you don't the trainer spent more time with him, because of his stupidity. So here we all have questions and time is just passing by because we only have one trainer and as soon as the trainer walks away, he goes back to being an idiot.
So he was the one who at times when he did participate in class, would be the first to shout out "oh man I can't wait until we can do this for real, and so on and so forth". So when he finally was on the phone he had a total meltdown!
He asked a question and so I answered it, and he calmly looked at me (like he was about to say thank you) and then he PUNCHES the computer and throws his headset off (while the person was still on the phone! Talk about UNPROFESSIONAL!!!) and he says "I can't do this" ummmm ya think?! All I was thinking was "oh he is out of here now!" Then the trainer walked out after him and about 25 mins later he came back WITHOUT DAN and said that he was just overwhelemed and yaddi yaddi yaddi. I have NEVER in my life seen that kind of behavior AT WORK! Then to really make me scratch my head, he was allowed to come BACK to the room to log out, and go home and THINK ABOUT if he really wanted to leave??? I know you are probably like WTF? Well so was I.
Anyhow the next day DAN was no longer with us, and I am glad to because had he really been able to come back after displaying that kind of behavior AT WORK, is absolutely unacceptable, and the fact that you got so mad to begin with is your own fault because maybe if you would have payed just a "smidge" of attention then you wouldn't have been so stressed out!
Moral of the story is....... (how about one of you readers give the conclusion
